How it all began

It’s all about fun, or rather in search for fun.

When the bean counters of the networks turned the workplace into factories.
When people were fast becoming robots working in assembly lines.

It was 1998.

Ron Cheung, Derek Chung and Tommy Cheng, senior executives at Bates Advertising, gathered and started trying to make some sense out of their advertising careers.
Would it be possible to create space where people get fun out of work?  Ironically, their solution was to become bean counters themselves, so as to create a playground that they can own.

And Hotdog Workshop opened its door in Dec 2000.
